Half Day Afternoon Wine Tour

The Hunter at its most photogenic. Afternoon sun, long shadows across the vines, and a relaxed sequence of tastings that carry you gently toward evening.

We finish at a scenic viewpoint as the light turns golden — the perfect close to a lazy valley afternoon, with door-to-door drop-off back at your accommodation.

We will take you to three of our favourite boutique cellar doors. Chosen for their great wine and connection to the valley. Small and family owned, talking to the people who grow the grapes, own the business or make the wine. If there is time we will make a stop at a local cheese or chocolate shop before we head home.

With the afternoon tour should you wish to finish at a local brewery we can change the last vineyard into a brewery stop where you can finish the day with a relaxing beer. Prior notice of this change is required in the booking notes at the time of booking.

Free pick up and drop off is included in this tour anywhere within 10km of the Hunter Valley Visitor Centre. This includes most of Lovedale, Pokolbin and Cessnock. Pickups outside these areas are available for an additional fee.
